How many TFL members are in or are going to the 3700 table gunshow in tulsa,OK
I went to it last time and it was humongous.
Im in the mid south (TN) so that was the largest show Ive ever been to.
I also went when they had 2500 when GOA was their and worked with them.
If many of us are going maybe we should do luch or something meet at certain stand or entrace at a certain time.
Just a wild thought.
Its oct 21st if you didnt know.

I just heard that theirs a better than not chance that GOA will be their.
If so look for me CATMAN maybe we can exchange stories. Its a 7 or 8 hour drive for me.But I have this terrible fear that when Im 35 such a sight of guns will be a thing of myth.

I'm in the process of trying to locate a restaurant where members can meet for dinner Saturday night, October 21st, after the show. In the mean time I'm open to suggestions as to where and what time members would like to meet inside the show during the day.

An hour and fifteen minutes away - I'll be there if I can get permission. Living in Oklahoma we have lots and lots of gun shows, and I may have used up my quota already this year.

Outback Steakhouse is not too far away.

If you need to keep a wife occupied, drop her off at Utica Square or Philbrook Museum (which has a good restaurant). The two are close together and she can get to both easily.

George is right, they sure ain't gonna sell any Swine and Weasel guns. George, If you go, do me a favor. Wear another gun manufacturer's belt buckle and walk by their tables repeatedly yelling, "I got your barbeeQ sauce right here"! And keep pointing to your belt buckle, ok, just general direction will do! Next show in Charlotte I plan to have fun with their little trailer! Got my "traitor" posters ready to stick on! Anyway guys, wish I was there 3700 freakin tables of toys. I'd be in heaven! Have fun!

yes sumabich it really is overwhelming.
They do not allow camera's because of the potential for the anti's to throw it in the papers about the right wing gun nuts.
GUNSLINGER-Most tend to eat around 12 so we could meet about 1 possibly at the (cough, gag cough) NRA table although Ill know ahead of time in the next two weeks if GOA will be their and that would be another good idea.
Far as where to eat Id have to follow someone like I did when me and the GOA crew went out last time, the only bar's I could find last time didnt exactly serve food
but they were friendly.
Are you from Tulsa Gunslinger?
Maybe we should consider a short march through one of the larger malls and make a point to wear our tackiest pro-gun shirts.
Me probaly JPFO paraphanalia.Just a thought you know me ...
NEVER leaving well enough alone, they sure as heck wont leave the bill of rights alone.
I beleive my cell phone works in Tulsa so maybe you can give me a number before I come
Gunslinger you could just email it to me.

Ruger45, nope, Terri and I live in Springfield, MO. about two and a half hours from Tulsa. But I make it a point to never miss the big Wanamaker Tulsa show every April and October.
George, not a lot of chili sauce of "T"-shirts, sun glasses and some of the usual gun show junk at this one. It is the highest quality show I have ever been to with the vast majority of tables covered with guns.

Some big Tulsa show trivia:

It really is 3700 tables.

The show is one two levels inside one eleven acre building.

If one walks every isle looking from side to side (as opposed to walking down one side and back) you will travel nine miles to see every table.

It has always been billed as the worlds largest gun show but in truth the old Pamona, CA. show was larger at one time with 5400 tables.

Meeting at the NRA table at 1:00 sounds like as good a plan as any.

Dead, 1300 miles!!! That is what airplanes are for. I bought my tickets back in July and will be flying in Friday night. Been going to that show for 20 years and I am not going to stop now.

Gunslinger, the old Pamona show may have been bigger be it had a lot of flea market crap in it too.
