3.5lb trigger connector for glock/safety question

I've bought a 3.5lb trigger connector for my G26. After I bought it :o, I wondered about safety. I'm not concerned about liability issues, however I did start wondering if installing this modification would increase the risk of an accidental discharge. Will the internal safeties of the Glock be somehow compromised with this modification? I hope not, because I'm very interested in seeing how this pistol will shoot with this connector installed. Any feedback about this concern would be much appreciated.

The connector will have absolutely no ill effect on the internal safeties. I use the Scherer connector and have installed several for friends. I've put tens of thousands of rounds through my G21, without one failure to fire or a.d.

If you want good instructions for installation, go to glockmeister.com. It's so simple, that even a Democrat could be trained to do it, given enough time.

I second that. The 3.5# connector will do nothing to compromise intrinsic safety of operation. The reason to use it is IF it allows YOU to shoot better & more accurately. As long as you obey Rule 3, there's no chance of the gun firing accidentally.

Walt,
Its good to know that a Democrat could be trained to install one. By the way, how did you know? :D
