Here is an email that I received from someone who has been investigating the 2ndLawLib's untimely demise of late.

The excellent collection of state, federal and supreme court decisions and journal articles pertinent to the Second Amendment that had been collected and placed online at http://www.2ndLawLib.org before that site was taken down, is being reassembled on our site at http://www.constitution.org/2ll/2ll.htm (those are "els" not "ones"). Unfortunately, although we seem to have gotten all the journal articles and state court files, our source, the Jural Society, did not download all the secondary files for the federal and supreme court decisions. We only have the first pages of each, which for the supreme court decisions is usually just the synopsis.
We could use volunteers to help us reassemble this collection and add to it. The files are readily available at such sources as http://www.findlaw.com, so I can eventually get all of them myself, but the Findlaw files need some cleaning, as do the 2ndLawLib files we already have. Many of the links need to be changed, and there is a lot of garbage in the Findlaw HTML. Anyone wishing to help should send me an email, and I will assign one or more cases to him to download and clean up.
One of the things I want to add to this collection are legal briefs, especially for all the cases in which certiorari was denied, so that the material does not appear in the court opinion.
I welcome suggestions for additions or corrections. We want to have the most complete and accurate collection on 2nd Amendment issues on the WWW.
