.28 guage rifled slugs or saboted slugs

I've seen them in my travels many years ago but now that I would like to buy .28 guage slugs, don't know where to find them. I've tried googling but no success as yet. Anybody know where .28 guauge slugs are sold at retail or where they can be had?

Can't answer your question, but I can make a technical point. It's not .28 gauge - it's 28 gauge. The decimal is used for calibers, not gauges.

Nobody makes a commercial loading for 28ga slugs. The Ballistic Products slugs are a .50 round ball in a special wad that load into a standard 28ga shell. They don't work well in my guns.

I have been dabbling with building up slug loads with different things. I have a .54 Minie ball that was a bit promising, but is not being consistant. The .50 Speer jacketed bullets will drop into a 28ga wad is something else I am trying to get to work. I believe if I get a choke tube rifled I could make about all of my experiments work.
