260 action size

Technically it uses a short action. I have heard of people using a long action so they can seat the bullets out longer so the 140 grainers don't take up any powder space.
 
Cool! keep us posted, Im very interested in the .260 also. Im considering converting my 10fp to 260 down the road. Zak Smith is a great source for info on this round also.
 
I too am very interested in this round. I want to know how versatile it can be in qualified hands. For hunting that is. It looks like a wonderful round that has been overlooked by the vast majority.:confused:

Guys:
260 used to be called the 6.5/308.
I've built several of them - but the old 6.5X55 will nearly do the same - but the cases are easier to get for the 260. I love both of them.
