Yes. It was a wildcat called the .25 Souper. Unfortunately, It did not gain much popularity, according to P.O. Ackely in his HANDBOOK FOR SHOOTERS AND RELOADERS Vol 1. It showed some interesting ballistics, but was nothing spectacular.

A few loads for this wildcat cartridge are given in A-Square's loading manual, "Any Shot You Want". It is not SAMMI registered and A-Square gives info under their own governance.
One interesting application of this round is in the salvaging of shotout/ruined .243 Win. barrels, which can be rebored to 25 Souper if you don't want to rebarrel it.
