.243 80 Berger load data

I don't think you're going to get much data help with Varget. Most 243 loaders use 4350 . I'm thinking Varg is going to be too fast of a powder, maybe with the very light 60 grainers. I like 4350 and R22 but I prefer the 100+ grain heavies.

Berger does not list Varget for their 80gr.
Looks like best powder for that is listed as IMR 7828SSC.

Road Clam,

For the 100+ gr bullets out of the 243, i recommend RL26.
Really zings them out there, and good accuracy.

Thanks for the tip. 4350 has been my go to powder for >100 gr and the RL22 worked awesome for 70 gr. I don't really shoot 70 gr anymore as I was mainly shooting my R700 243 at 600 yds. You need heavy bullets at that distance. I even shot my 243 at 1000 yds but even the smk 107's were very hard to distinguish and verify a hit on steel at 1K.
