24 grs of AA2460 with 36 grs Barnes VG

Does anyone know if 24 grains of AA2460 with the 36grain Barnes VG is too hot of a load? Is it at a dangerous level? I can't find any load data for 2460 powder and 36 grain bullet.... My bad reloading 100 bullets before checking for exact load data. yes I am very new to reloading

According to Quickload, assuming you are loading .223, that is a very light load, like 28 ksi. Have you contacted Barnes? They are very good about providing data and advice. You make it sound as though you just loaded up 100, with no data, no workup. Tell us you didn't do that! If that's not the case, my apologies. If it is, you have some serious study ahead, like reading a loading manual. Barnes sells one. Do that first, then ask questions on specifics.

I edited your title to be sure there's no confusion with grams.

Stating the chambering is critical, as those loading 220 Swift and .222 Rem will have different results form yours.

Thanks.
