For 20 years I have been using a left handed remington model 700 bolt action rifle in 30-06 caliber. This rifle has always felt just right for me. Does anyone make a rifle in .22 long rifle rim fire which is comparible to my model 700?

I guess you're looking for a "full size" .22 rifle, when you say "compatible"?

I don't know of any southpaw versions, but suchlike as the old Remington 550 semi-auto comes close to filling the bill. (Is the 552 the followup to this?)

Years ago, Walther made a heavy-ish barrelled .22 semi-auto. (Tricky little deal; magazine fed. If you put the bolt handle in the "down" position, it functioned as a single-shot.) Per Fjestad, they're only worth around $150 to $200. Accurate as all get-out...
