I am looking for a 22lr smoothbore. Does anyone own one?
Has anyone heard of a Winchester model 67 smoothbore?
How about converting a rifle to smoothbore? A romanian would seem like a good candidate. Would love to get a Rem 121SB but they are expensive. Thanks for the info.

You're correct about the Marlin, though it's the model that shoots the .22Mag shotshell, so it's more expensive. That being said, I've always wanted one of those, think of the backyard skeet you could shoot. :)

While *I* haven't heard of a Model 67 smoothbore I wouldn't be surprised that they made them. What *I* have been trying to get my hands on for the last few years, *after* I found out that they actually made them, is a Winchester Model 61 smoothbore as a `companion' to my present model 61 rifled bore .22 pump. Would be very nice to have the smoothbore loaded with shotshells hanging in the double rack on my ATV next to my other .22 loaded with Stingers or Golden Bullets when I'm `out and about' the farm sometimes. Potting magpies and pigeons off of fence wires would be a lot easier and a lot less `stressful' by not having to worry about where the occasional miss might end up at. {BSE GRIN!} (Also I'd end up with a lot less holes through the tin roofs of our sheds when I manage to catch the pigeons *before* the y managed to take off. {WAN GRIN!} [Last spring I had to replace *three* whole roof panels after I somewhat got rid of those dirty birds!]) 'Course what would be *really* nice would be to be able to get both the smoothbore model 61 *and* a smoothbore 9422! Then I could `preserve' the two model 61s and go ahead and `shoot out' my two existing 9422s *and* the smoothbore 9422 instead. (For those of you who *may* think I am `crazy'... The last smoothbore model 61 *I* saw had a pricetag of over $500! 'Course that *was* in *excellent* / 91% - 95% condition, too. [The last time I had my model 61 `appraised' it was `appraised' at just a hair over 91% and I'd love to have the other one be pretty much the same just to make them match. {CHORTLE!}] I kinda figure that I could `shoot out' a couple 9422s and still not really end up `costing?' myself that much in the long run.)

Oh, well... I guess *I* can dream on... However... *If* you *do* get that model 67 smoothbore and you are out this way in the springtime you are welcome to do a bit of pigeon shooting with me. {BSE GRIN!} I don't think I'll be running out of them danged dirty birds too soon no matter how hard I try. {WAN GRIN!}

Yes, but.

The Blue Book lists a Model 67 smooth bore with a 27 inch barrel. The listed prices on the 67s are 98% = $200, 90% = $100.

Then in the small print it says "Add 100%-150% for smooth bore, depending on condition."
