22LR integrity

Purchased a box of 300+ Remington 22LR HP from Cabella's.
If i hold the brass case, I can turn the bullet.
Seems odd.
Wrote Remington twice, no response.
Are these safe to shoot in a Browning 1911 22A1 Pistol ?

No worries, you can turn the bullet in the case on lots of .22 LR ammo.

ive had lots of them do that, always shot great. I learned later that 22lr uses "heeled" bullets and that this is what causes that.

Seems most .22 you can turn the bullet in the case. I do have a box of Federal American Eagle .22LR that is so loose my Ruger MkII, which had previously had no issues with any brand, jams on it. The bullet actually kinks sideways on the feed ramp! The 10/22 eats it up though, so I just don't use it in the MkII.
