.22LR Drum Magazines...

Hello everybody.

I am interested in a .22LR HI-CAP (c. 50rd) drum magazine for my plinker, and I was wondering if the Ruger 10/22 accessories would mate with other makes of the .22LR caliber. I've only seen .22LR drums for Rugers, but I want a drum that will work with a Savage Arms rifle (Mark II). I'd be grateful for any information you can give me. Thank you.
 
As far as banana magazines and drums go I've only seen them for Ruger .22 rifles. If you're very handy with tools you might be able to create a way to use the drum mags in your Savage or build a custom magazine for yourself. Otherwise I think you'll have to buy a 10/22 someplace.
 
Thanks for the feedback. That'll save me the $50+. If I have to get a new rifle, anyway, then I think I'd go for the gusto and get a slightly larger bore target rifle. With the abundance of 7.62mm accessories, I might as well get a used .308, as the magazine should work fine regardless of the minor differences in ammunition.
