I went to my local scheels today and started looking through fishing gear and went to pick up a pole and found two boxes of cci 22lr 50 round boxes. Went to check out $5 a box not bad price. Anyways I heard about a week ago a local store got a shipment of 22lr in but we're charging $10 for 50 shells. Not sure what brand or anything didn't look cause I refuse to do business there. And week before that a guy I go to church with said that our local fleet farm had some recently not sure on price. Is this a sign that this shortage might be ending? Or did they just get lucky? Anyone still having problems finding shells?

Still have to be there when it comes in, around here, but it's staying in stock a bit longer and stocked more often.

Local Cabela's has a two box limit for 22LR, and each time I've been in there, poking around the centerfire ammo or the reloading stuff, someone has hidden two boxes of 22LR behind something. Must be 22 ammo all over the store!

Kind of enjoyable putting their little stash back on the shelf where it should be, or buying it myself.

Depends on where you live. Some places have had 22LR on the shelves for months, some still can't find it without waiting in line for hours.

The hoarders around here are slowing buying less and less. I see it on the shelves more often now. I'd expect within a few months, it will be over with entirely.

Gun show price for a brick of 22LR in Conroe and Houston, TX was $80+ a few months ago. At the last gun show three weeks ago a brick of Federal cost $50. Price is going down but still too high and nearly twice the Walmart price.

Nothing here, and the owner of the range where I shoot is still having extreme difficulty even buying it for the range to sell to shooters. He hasn't had enough to let people buy for "take home" for more than a year.

Still none in Missouri either, Cabelas has been having some pop up every now and then on the internet though for a good price, but then you have to pay shipping and it makes in not so worth it unless you're ordering other stuff with it.

I hear things like this but never hear of someone in a specific location confirming that it's true.
