.224 boz, where to get one

Anybody remember the 224boz? I remember reading about it and they had converted two pistols to take the round, a Glock 21 and a 1911. Anybody know of any smith doing the conversions for this caliber? Opinions and comments welcome.

Civil Defence Supply considers the .224 BOZ to be a proprietary cartridge. To date, CDS has no intention of marketing it outside of the military and law enforcement markets.

Dan has elaberated on my previous comment. Basically, I don't think you can get ahold of this round.

Why not load some .224 PWT(poor white trash).
.224 55gr fmj+ .30 cal sabot loaded in a 7.62x25mm with max load for the 86gr bullet +2gr of AA-7. Works good in my CZ-52. Feeds and functions fine. I have not chronographed it yet but it should be as close to the .224 BOZ as us non-LEO civilian scum can get.
Should I call it .224 CSBWB(civilian scum BOZ wanna be)?

I was thinking about doing that JA, but gee, I haven't had any police training. I don't think I can handle anything that powerful.

Won't that evil gun start shooting cops and how will I stop it? You know those type guns are just for killing cops, right?

Nope, I'm just sticking with what my goverment says is best for me, after all we really can't be trusted with such weapons.
