.223 Rossi light primer strikes

I have a Rossi R223 MBS single shot. Today at the range five of twenty rounds were no-go's. Light primer strikes. The rounds were re-loads with CCI SR primers. I guess I will contact Rossi as the ammo was not the problem. Anyone else with this rifle encounter the click and no bang. Sounds like a short pin to me.
 
I have a Rossi 7.62x39 that has excessive headspace from the factory. Only way to make it fire is some creative case forming. I intend to send it back this year for repair.
 
A friend of mine bought his kids a Rossi 7mm-08 to deer hunt with and it does the same thing. Not good when you have a nice buck in your sights. I would send it back if it was me.
 
My older brother has this issue with his. He was shooting American Eagle out of it. I loaded the rounds into my C93 and it fired all his 'failures' without a hitch. He intends on sending it in.
