My friend recently bought the Olpympic Ordinance .223 calibor carbon pistol...it seems really nice but does anyone know how it shoots at the range and etc.?
Beats me, but I have a "Professional Ordnance" Carbon 15 Type 97. Nice gun. Shoots .223 out of M16/AR15 mags. Huge muzzle blast. Loud. Doesn't exactly conceal well, but it sure is fun to shoot. It has a few jams, but it's still being broken in.
Take an M-16 variation of your choice with a chronied velocity with a perticular factory load and - 50 FPS per inch. That will give you an rough idea of what the pistol is doing. Rough Idea!
They are hard to shoot well due to the ackward balance.
Avoid the temptation to fit it to a regular stocked lower!
hey i thought that when a commercially manufactured pistol appeared on the market all "armor piercing" ammo for that caliber was pulled off the market. that is what happened with the steel core 7.62X39 ammo for SKS's and AK's.
so what now? will all the surplus .223 "armor piercing" ammo be unavailable for sale?
