Anyone have a suggestion on a good powder for both 220 swift and 7mm mag? I have no expectations of premium performance out of either, mostly just looking for plinking...well, as plinking as 220 and 7mm gets. I wont be loading much of either so Im wondering if I can have less powder/money sitting on the shelf for years to come. If not, oh well.

With 55 grain or heavier bullets in the 220, you can use H4350 or H4831 which will work well in the 7mm Rem Mag though they are not exactly plinking loads. You can probably also find loads for any 4350 or 4831 powder that will work for both. The powders for lighter bullets in the 220 are way too fast for the 7mm.

Look at Hodgdon's site. Those cartridges have a lot of powders in common. Life's good when that happens. Pick a bullet weight for each and have fun.
Don't think you'll want to do much plinking with a 7mm Mag though.
