I have a custom 22 Hornet, Ruger 77 22 Hornet converted to K Hornet with a 1 in 9" twist barrel... love the gun & it's versatility... I don't like how hard ammo or in reality brass can be to locate sometimes, & how fragile 22 Hornet brass is...
I keep getting drawn to the 22 TCM handguns though I've yet to purchase, & noted they offer a bolt action rifle in that caliber that is much more my speed those bolt rifles are also quite a good value... from what I can tell, both cartridges are about the same ballistically with similar bullets... I'd suspect the sharper shoulder of the TCM is inherintly more accurate, & the brass ( made from shortened & formed 223 cases ) should be much more durable, & likely better handle top end loads, with longer case life...
curious if anyone has shot both of these with any regularity & wants to offer some insight???
