.22 single six

Got a Ruger single six .22 yesterday for christmas and just took it to the range and all i can say is that i now have a favorite new gun. It was so much fun to plink with and was very accurate. I mainly got it to practice with a .22 instead of my .357 blackhawk but i know that for sure the .22 will get lots of use. Also wondering how may .38 special rounds ya'll go through in a range session and still feel accurate?

I enjoy my Single Six more than any of my other .22's, to include rifles. I'm playing with getting the 9.5" bbl version for a little more velocity for rabbit and squirrel hunting.

They're a classic...

I've been shooting the same one since I was 12 years old. My dad gave it to me when I turned 18. Now at 38, it's still just as much fun. I couldn't begin to guess how many thousands of rounds have been through mine.

My typical day at the handgun range is a centerfire (or 2) with 150 - 250 rounds for each and a rimfire with 200 - 300 rounds.
I'll shoot about half of the rimfire ammo first, then switch to the bigbores, then end the day with the remainder of the rimfire ammo.
