.22 rimfire Henry rifles

If you get a youth model .22 lever action, you can get a Henry patch for free if you are NRA junior member. :) It was pretty tempting to buy one just for the free patch actually, but the offer only applied to youth model, and I'm a bit taller than the average adult.

I've been sorely tempted, but,,,,,

favorable opinions are few and far between on the them. I hear or read about 5 to 1 against them.

I've got only about 300 or so rounds through mine, but it shoots 2" to the right at 25 yards. My only complaint so far, so overall I'm pretty happy with it!

Having seen them disassembled, I'd be leery of them: too many plastic parts in the wrong places. Taurus or, better yet, old Rossi 22/22mag seem more solid and the two I fired were pretty accurate and handy.

one vote for! accurate, reliable, and has a smooth action. as for plastic parts, it's a 22, stresses on parts are going to be well below anything that touches a 10mm, and have you ever heard of a glock 20?
