.22 mag revolvers, esp NAA

Fellow just offered me a NAA .22 magnum mini revolver, stainless, 1 5/8" barrel, new for $150. Dog gone it! I must resist, because I want to put that $150 toward a new Kel-tec P32 instead.

For self-defense when the .45 has been left at home, the P32 may be a lot better than the pipsqueak .22 mag. Besides, magazines can be swapped in seconds whereas that revolver requires pulling the cylinder out, refilling, and replacing (maybe after dropping it in the mud, blood and beer).

Though I would like a little .22 mag revolver. It's just that priorities have the P32 first. The fellow will be back in a few days to see if I changed my mind. Tell me I did right to wait for the P32.

If I were picking between an NAA mini-revolver and the Keltec P32 for a defensive carry, I'd go for the Keltec in a heartbeat. That being the case, I'd have to agree with your decision. FWIW, I have both, but if I'm looking for a gun to drop into my pocket, it's not the NAA mini. :-)

Thanks, I'll be passing over the mini mag. It's a cute little novelty item. But for minimal defense, the P32 seems a better choice.

I have the ..22 mag mini and its a great little gun. But I would look at the NAA Guardian .32 also very nice pistol and accurate I have one of those also and looked at the Keltec and did not care for plastic! But its your decision! Good Luck

I've already had the good luck to find my P32, but FWIW I too am looking for one of those neat little NAA mini-revolvers. They seem like a neat little piece, but I'd much rather carry my P32 instead. I'd probably relegate the NAA mini-revolver to novelty status.

I've found out my hard-chrome P32 stoked with Cor-Bon 60gr HPs or Fiochhi 73gr FMJs is fast becoming my favorite carry piece - however, as soon as the weather allows heavier clothing I'm going back to the Glock 19 (backed up by the P32, of course).
