I bought a 5" Ruger SR1911 a couple years ago, and its a great pistol. I bought a Kimber 22 conversion, and it runs very well on the SR frame.
I have been thinking lately that a CMD would be a nice addition, but have held off, because its so similar to my 5". Now that the Ruger Lightweight SR1911 CMD is becoming available, Im interested. Will the full length .22 conversion slides work on a CMD frame?
