22-250 Case Length

The min should be the trim length. I've had some that went under that length with no problems though.

Since the .22-250 doesn't headspace on the case mouth, the only critical length dimension is max. As long as there is enough case neck to correctly seat (and hold) the bullet, they will work. Accuracy is going to depend on YOUR rifle, as much as anything.

There is no need to make cases shorter than the "trim to" length, but if you have some a few thousandths shorter, don't freak. Odds are they will work just fine and you won't notice the difference.

Generally the "trim to" length (i.e., minimum) is 0.01"less than the "max" length.

The max length for the .22-250 is 1.912". The "Minimum" - or "trim to" length is 1.902."
