D doceaux New member Aug 21, 2012 #1 Found a Rem. 700 SS SPS sporter barrel in .204 Ruger and topped it off with a Buckmaster 4.5x14. What's your favorite factory load and and hand load recommendation. Going to shoot it Saturday with Hornaday VMAX 32 gr.. I'll let you know how it goes!

N NESHOOTER New member Aug 21, 2012 #2 Good luck, for the critters I would try the 40 gr v-max it has better cofficent balistics even better than the .223/5.56.

K kraigwy New member Aug 22, 2012 #3 I don't use factory loads but I do use 32 gn V-max in my Ruger #1 in 204. Shot several coyotes, never shot one twice. The 204 works. I like the velocity of the 32 grainers.
