Anybody know when the 2015 handguns hit the market? Particularly the Springfield Armory Marine Corps Operator (1911).

There's no one particular day. It varies by model and manufacturer. Some manufacturers, like Ruger and Springfield, release new products as they become available. SHOT show is next week where several new products will be announced. When they will be available to purchase is another story.

Thanks...figured the same re: availability. As for beta testing, I'm not a big fan. For the model I'm thinking about, it's more of an upgrade than new firearm so the risk should be low. ...and it's pretty!
The Shot Show is in a few days, so they may roll it out after that. Have you contacted a retailer to see what information they might have?
Springfield has had 1911s for quite a few years. I can't imagine any problems with the Marine Corps Operator.Like being a beta tester?
