I've been shut out this year after 6 days of hard hunting but wanted to compliment you on your 6 pointer. That's a nice deer and certainly a lot bigger than most 6 that are running around out there. Congrats.
Congrats on a nice deer. Like the previous poster I've been skunked thus far this season but there are still 10 days of anterless, 10 days of muzzleloader, and about 45 days of bow season left so I still have hope.

Tagged this one yesterday morning, opening day Iowa shotgun season. Firearm was a mossberg 500 20g, rifled ported barrel , optics are bushnell 3-9x32, shooting Hornaday sst sabots. 125 yards broadside.
He only field scored 140 [I will know better #'s when we sit down and put the tape to him] , but would have ben much bigger had he not had 2 busted tines. However he was a great buck to get out of the herd, I would guess him at 5 1/2 yrs old. Plus, he looks real good in my freezer, haha.
