$200 Tax on Your AR-15?

Here's an email that I got this morning from Gunsamerica. It's interesting now that they're considering a Class 3 tax for already owned AR's. Also In the article, part of the plan is to stop manufacturing AR's? How is this even possible with the military using them? This might be old news about the Calss 3, but it's the first that I have seen of it?

The one flaw with registering grandfathered guns in the NFA is that hundreds of thousands off guns will have to be registered (if the owners chose to) and the NFA branch has only a hand full of examiners to process the paperwork. I don't see the govt hiring hundreds of new examiners and with what they have now obama would be out of office before all were officially registered.

The best action is 1) Contact your elected officials and 2) Pray as GOD has more power than those morons in washington.

I'm pretty confident that won't pass. So what that will tell me is that the ATF will be back logged for YEARS (it already takes how long for class III items??) and will put 10,000,000+ citizens in possession of an unlicensed class III NFA item? I don't think so.

It is taking 6 months for any Class III form to be approved right now.
