Guys, going to the gun show tommorrow and don't have alot of cash at the moment (kids just started back to school, need I say more) Here's my question.. are there any autos I should be on the look out for in the $200 range? I know about kel tec's p-11 but how about some other's? New, used or otherwise, any good "sleeper" bargains I should be aware of? Thanks to all and shoot safe:)

ya gonna pull 'em pistols or whistle dixie?

Makarov. Check out the history at makarov.com. Price range is roughly $140 to $170+, depending on manufacturer. Great pistol for the money. I'm still looking for a good East German model.

I'll third the Makarov recommendation. I think they are the best gun value going.

If you can scrape up a little more cash, you might also look at the HS2000. I've never shot one, but I've read plenty of reviews, both in magazines and on this board, that suggest that it is a solid pistol. I continue to see ads for these guns for $250.

Good luck.

For $200 or less, a Makarov would be hard to beat. Two bills will get you a rock-solid, dependable all-steel pistol, a bagful of spare magazines and a few hundred rounds of ammo for it.

I'm going to the show this weekend also

And will be looking for some "deals" as well!

Good to know there are some other NC posters out there...

East German Beauty

gotta say Mak! just picked up my second EG from a local pawn shop,$170.00 out the door-2 mags, holster, extra set of grips, not as nice as the previous Mak,but a darn good price-already put a pearce grip on it (thanks makarovpistol.com) or how about a fun CZ-52 120.00-170.00 nice little blaster.either way you can't go wrong.or maybe a CZ83 .380 used with 1 hi-cap mag from aimsurplus.com for 180.00-200.00.so many choices,so little money :)
