20 ga barrel options

Why doesn't Mossberg offer a 18 1/2 " HD barrel for the 20 ga 500? Am I missing something? Are they missing the boat?

They do, it's just hard to find a listing. Give Mossberg a call and they can get you the part number and assist with ordering.

Good post, I looked all over before I thought to call em. They make them for .410 also. Good luck with the 500.

My 20ga Mossy came with a full length/modified choke/plain barrel & a mail-in coupon for choice of several extra barrels. The full choke/vent rib that I chose served every purpose so well, that I shortened the plain barrel to HD length (18.5"). A couple years ago I picked up an 24" rifled slug barrel (Slugster) with rifle sights installed on clearance from Midway for about 60 bucks

They do. I just ordered a model 50452 with 18.5" barrel and synthetic stock. The 50450 is the same but with a pistol grip only.
