So my cousin and I were talking last night about the O'Reilly Factor and the recent events in Va. Now I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here, but I heard that there are over 20,000 gun laws in the US, is that actually true?
If that is the case, one should have the common sense to see more weapon laws are not the answer. I'm so perplexed at how some people don't see this. More laws will keep guns from law abiding citizens and criminals will still retain them, NO MATTER WHAT laws are introduced.
That being said, I see actors (Rosie, Michael Douglas, etc), politicians (Obama, Clinton, etc) stating their views on gun control and tougher laws. Well correct me if I'm wrong, but do they not have body guards who carry weapons? Do they not also live in rich neighborhoods? What gives them the right to push their views? Isn't that a bit hypocritical?
