Is it true? has the demand finally almost caught up with production?
I actually was able to buy a Brick a couple weeks ago!
First there were the small 50 and 100 packs and now some bricks.
Ireally wish I knew how the manufacturers could have let us hang for so long? They had to know how it hurt the shooting sports.
I read so many excuses but it just seemed like someone had their finger on the "STOP" button and decided we were having too much fun with our .22's!
They sure took the wind out of the sails of all .2 enthusasists Nationwide!
My shooting club is a wasteland!
First it was the rimfires, then all the voids in reloading supplies and factory ammo.
No kidding, my Club is hurting! Range use fees are terrible and in the RED! Generally the Club is barren!
No waiting for a spot, heck there's almost noone that can afford to shoot anymore!
I try and go at least every 2 wks all day and there's just nobody hardly shooting anymore!
Iam a BP fan and I shoot slowly but I have noticed that the folks who do come out and shoot, barely keep up with my pace, or just shoot 1 box and go home in 20 minutes.
Sad, very sad!

I have seen exactly four bricks of 22 ammo this year and last. Hopefully that is changing.

Bought one of them, left the rest for others.

I bought a brick of Aguila Super Extras $65/500. I hated to pay that much. But it's still the cheapest form of practice. I have since vowed not to buy any more for inflated prices, as I have over 2k rounds total.

Still dry as a bone when it comes to bulk packs.

Yup, here too. I picked up a couple a while back and was thrilled to get them, but I am about out again.

I was in a Bass Pro Shop last weekend, about a half hour from my house, picking up an order of Unique powder (also like hunting unicorn feathers, but I got some!). There was a sign up on the ammo aisle that .22 was behind the counter. Woohoo! I went to the counter and asked if they had any ".22 long rifle." (Yes, I was that specific.) The clerk replied, "Sure, here you go." And handed me a 50-round box of .22 mag.:o

Still rare to find .22LR in my area. Checked at my local Walmart just yesterday. There probably was 10K rounds of .223, seriously, but not a single box of .22LR.
