I use a lot of bullets from Xtreme bullets.com , go to their website and check it out . I also buy hornady 223 bullets in bulk for cheaper prices . Powders I use for 223 are Ramshot Tac , CFE 223 , Winchester 748 ...................Pistol powders I use CFE Pistol , titegroup , Shooters world " Clean shot" is very impressive in 9mm and 38 SPL .........Hope it helps........

Favorite .223 powder = Varget and Tac

Favorite 9mm powder = Titegroup

I buy .223 bullets from Hornady and Sierra mostly, but I have a batch of some Armscor that I bought for plinking, but haven't got around to loading yet so I have no idea how good they are. I have had them for about a year or more now, I guess I should probably work up a load and see how they shoot.

I get my bullet from a variety of sources such as Brownells, Midwayusa, Rocky Mountain Reloading, etc. Whoever has the best deal on either Hornady V-Max, Nosler, or Hornady SP.

The only two powders I use are CFE223 and IMR 8208 XBR.

For 9mm I use Titegroup, Power Pistol or CFEPistol, in that order.

I don't load .223......

My favorite powder for 9mm is Titegroup / bullet for 9mm is Montana gold 115gr FMJ. I buy in case lots of 4,000 for $350 delivered.

Online bullet source: Whoever has 'em at the best price. Don't neglect Powder Valley, but check a couple sites when you buy. And look at the shipping cost.

Favorite .223 powder: I've been using TAC exclusively, but I recently got improved performance with CFE223 and 65 grain Sierra GameKings.

Favorite (only) 9 mm powder: Power Pistol.

Favorite bullets for varmints,. Nosler 40 gr Ballistic Tips or Varmageddons (Tipped), Hornady V-MAX or Z-Max 40 gr. For long range shooting, Nosler 69 gr Custom Competition. Usually ordered from Shooters Pro Shop, but occasionally found online from Cabela's or other online sources. Whoever has them cheap and in bulk.
Favorite .223 powder, Ramshot Tac. Also have Accurate 2015, H-335, Varget, IMR-8028 and Ramshot Exterminator on hand.
Favorite 9mm powder, still deciding between Titegroup, CFE Pistol, and Power Pistol.
I also have Unique, W-231, HP-38, Universal, Bullseye and Blue Dot on hand.

Thanks for all the responses everyone! I will have to pick up some ramshot tac as well as powder pistol! my local gander mountian just so happens to be discounting them for some reason right now ;)

I used to use TAC and CFE223 but have recently switched to IMR4198 and I'm very happy with it. No more face full of un-burned powder at the range. :)

For bullets, depending on how much you shoot, Hornady Bulk or Sierra 65g SBT.

fav

For .223....my favorite is Reloader 15. I use Sierra 69s, Hornady 75s and Sierra 77 gr. Matchkings. I buy them in bulk when I find sales.
For 9mm....Win. 231.

Pete

Favorite Powders

For 5.56, AA2520 and 69 or 77 grain Sierra BTHP. Distant second, TAC with same bullets.
For 9mm, love AA#5 and Silhouette. Fantastic powders.

Loving all the responses everyone! I picked up some Power pistol yesterday and look forward to testing it compared to the CFE ive been using. I have all i need to start reloading 223 coming in this week, now all I am lacking is components. Gander was out of all 223 powders so I struck out this time. Hopefully i can find some TAC or similar at the next gun show for a decent price

Brando, are you looking for SS109 projectiles. Usually when I see 62 GR that is what I think of. I found several sources for the SS109. American Reloading sells pulled ones quite cheaply. Since they aren't so accurate to begin with pulled makes little difference to me. Got them at $0.085 ea. delivered.

I have used CFE 223, Accurate 2460 and H335 in my AR with a 1 in 9 twist with good results. When just plinking I use bulk 55 GR FMJBT, for accuracy loads I like both Hornady V-Max and Nosler Varmegeddon. I recently bought some 69 GR Nosler Custom Competition, but haven't shot any yet.
