2 3/4" shells through 3.5" chamber

Just bought a 3.5 in. chambered waterfowl shotgun. got the 3.5 in because i also plan on using it for turkey and using steel for ducks and geese. But i like to shoot the occasional round of skeet or sporting clays. Every time i have shot skeet or sporting clays it has been with a 3" O/U using 2 3/4" shells.

How well will the 2 3/4" shells pattern through the 3.5" chambered shotgun? would you say i could find a choke to pattern the shells efficiently?

There should be no difference in the way they pattern.

Pattering shouldn't be an issue, however, depending on how the gun operates, you may notice the gun not wanting to cycle with 2 3/4"

gotcha thanks guys. saw some people saying it would effect my pattern and started having second thoughts, thanks for clearing that up
