1st time firing a .44 Mag - Cool!

I rented a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Mag revolver at my local range this past weekend and I really liked it. What a terrific gun, my sights were right on, and it felt great in my hand. I have a Ruger Blackhawk .357 and I could certainly feel alot of similarities. As I had never fired a .44 before I was curious to see how the recoil would feel. Although the gun lets you know when it's being fired ;) , it was quite comfortable, and really alot of fun.
 
it is hard to beat the grin factor of a .44.

The only thing that makes me grin more is unloading a mag in a desert eagle .50 ae....
 
I found the recoil of a .44 magnum in my Super Redhawk to be singularly unimpressive. It's a very easy and accurate gun to shoot.

If you like your .357, the Super Blackhawk is another fine .44 magnum, and a hoot to shoot.
 
I just fired my first .454 today, a raging bull. Recoil was not too bad, the comp on them things made it really easy to shoot. did not feel much different than my super redhawk.
