While the ladies were at a baby shower for my daughter, which is a miracle in itself after 11 yrs. of marriage and several miscarriages, us guys got to go to my club. 1st time for my son and 2nd time for my SIL.
After giving them some necessary instruction on safety and gun handling, we started with my Ruger Mark II pistol and the falling plates. The boys took to that really well and had a great time. Next it was another 22lr set up, swinging plates. They really were warmed up now. We tried my P38, a gift from a beloved uncle from WWII and they really liked the bigger caliber. With time running out on us, we didn't get to shoot the S&W 357mag but did shoot my CZ82 in 9x18 Makarov, my normal carry pistol. The boys shot that gun the best, and other than my 357 I like that one the most too!
All in all a fun day at the range, and I hope one we can repeat again soon.
