it was the only piece i wanted from my friends collection after he died.

was a really strong wind only got 2.0 inch groups. dont know this rifle well. but its fun to shoot. LOW recoil. used prvi partizan ammo mainly for the brass. was thinking of using h4831sc cause its what i use in .270 and .243. any sugestions? got primers dies.

cheap bullets like cor-loks are fine for me. designer bullets are cool but i love getting the basics to do what they say you cant do with them. i have put 3 .243 corloks through the same hole.

really are there any good loads for h4831sc out there? what powders do you use?

I found this info. It looks like Reloader 19 would work well. I used to like that powder when I reloaded. Winchester 760 (ball powder) also looks good and that used to be my favorite powder as it measured so consistently. I couldn't find any loads using your desired powder so it must not be a good fit for this caliber. Good luck!

Oops, found a load for ya. Last post in this thread.

I have a MkII Ruger in 260 Remington, which should be ballistically very similar to your rifle. The 260 shoots great with IMR4064 and the Nosler 120 grain Ballistic Tip. The other bits and pieces of the load are Norma cases and CCI BR2 primers.

I've always used IMR 4320 and 140gr Sierra gamekings in my 6.5x55, shoots 1" groups at 100 yds when I am doing my part. I see IMR is no longer listing 4320 in their 6.5x55 data but it's always worked well for me.
