1st post + knife questions

Hello. I found this forum this weekend while searching for information on karambit knives. While it is a handgun forum, there is a a lot of information about knives here and I plan to read a lot of the previous threads in the following weeks.

The main question I have right now is about the law and carrying knives. Can someone point me to where I can read up on what I can and cannot carry while walking in the street?

That is going to depend on which State you're in. check your State penal code; and if you live in a major metropolis, your City municipal code.

Looking for info. After reading a few more threads here I saw people mention bladeforums.com. I found an article about California law but it seems that the law about it is contradictory. Still reading up. Thanks for replying.
