1st hunt

I went out for the first time today! 46 years old and on my first hunt. I went with a guy from work, a stalker, and had a ball! Two steps and listen, Two steps and listen...very enervating. I saw lots of turkeys, had two hares scare the heck out of me, and watched does browse. I must try again. This could be habit forming.
 
Congrats on your first hunt. I hope you go again. It can be a real hoot can't it. I love going even though alot of the time all I end up seeing is a bird or a few squirels. Just can't beat being outside. The only time I have found that it kinda sucks is high wind and rain.
 
Amazin' what ya see when you're sneaky-snaking around or just sittin' and lookin'.

Wuz sittining on the ground, one time, about half asleep, and some motion caught my attention. A fox, hunting. I squeaked at him and he came toward me. I squeaked, he kept coming.

He got a bit upset when I tapped him on the nose with the toe of my boot.

Shooting's sorta secondary. Hunting is a bunch of fun.
