Very nice, I like it. But remember back then "mas production" and interchangeable parts had not made it into gunmaking yet. The Winchester 21 and Foxes competed with the Ithacas, and a standard grade of any of them were great guns. It's a good thing manufacturing did progress. Just look at what any decent SxS costs today even with all the advancements.
 
Beautiful gun. I've got a 1908 "Flues" Field Grade 12 ga. Still locks up tight after 106 years. It 's worn and scrached but still tight and the action is smooth. Wood to metal fit is great too. This was the first year of the Flues series. Shot a round of trap with it recently (using reduced loads) and found it works just fine as long as you remember it's not a trap gun. Would love to have a real Ithica trap gun.
