Found one for sale in the states and I was curious if anyone knows where I can find some ammunition.i don't care if they're reloads. Just looking for something so we can try it out before investing... Also anyone with stories about it is more than welcome to share :)
 
All I can say is good luck.

As far as I know it's never been loaded outside of Germany in World War I and maybe some test ammunition in the United States post war.
 
I know they're much more common in Australia but there has to be someone who loads it or fans it in the states lol.. Kind of like the 20mm lahti and the 55 boys
 
I have one in my collection, and I see a few a year at cartridge shows, but they're not common or cheap. I usually see them priced anywhere between $25 and $75 each.
