Trigger channel: are those mold lines supposed to be there?
Guys,

When I was installing my short trigger in my Kimber Warrior I noticed that there are what appear to be vertical mold lines about half way down the trigger channel that the trigger bow fits in. Is this normal? the reason I ask is because I saw a tool at brownells that polishes these channels.

What say you gurus?

I would assemble the gun and try the trigger first. If those marks don't hurt anything, why worry about them? If they do, you can always polish them out.

Unless those marks stood out enough either to drag on the bow or to push it into contact with the magazine (serious drag), they won't cause a problem.
