I have a Kimber Pro Carry that I would like to change the sights on. The existing sights are plain black target sights which I like and are plenty accurate, but I would like to put night sights on the Kimber since it is my EDC. I also have a Springfield Mil-Spec that I am looking to customize and Would like to move the old Kimber sights over to the Springer. The Mil-Spec will already need to have a dovetail cut for the front, but is it even possible to cut the rear dovetail on the Springer to accept the Kimber sights? It looks to me as if the Kimber also has a flat area behind the sight that would also need to be milled. Is it even worth trying to have something like this done?
