1911 laser

I recently purchased my first 1911-style pistol (a post about that is on its way) and I need advice. I plan on getting a laser for it, and I am wondering: CT lasergrips or a Lasermax internal guide rod laser? What do you guys think?

Crimson Trace without a doubt, no competition. Its simpler to install and does not mechanically alter or weaken the firearm, plus does not require you to muck about trying to turn the darn thing on. All you need to turn on your CT is a proper grip on the frame.

Plus, everywhere ive been internet-window shopping, the CT grips have been going on sale to greater or lesser degrees.

Not even close - Crimson Trace. CT makes two styles - front or side activation and I personally prefer front activation. It;s almost impossible for me to make the side activated work.

I've tried them both on several different platforms and the Crimson Trace grips win for me on every one due to ease of use.
