If you can stand to drive to phoenix (cheaper than fed-ex unless you drive a tank) Nelson Ford is here and very reasonable and rarely much of a wait, is a very well repected smith (I believe a guild top 100 but don't quote me on that) 1911 or otherwise.
Yost - Bonnitz custom is also here though they likley have a long wait, they are amont the top 5 or so for the 1911 in the nation.
Others in and around phoenix... Robar... does refinishing and pistol smithing, and some awsome custom rifles, Big Bore Percesion,
I'ms sure I am forgeting some... if you go further north, Mr. Vang of Vang Comp shotgun fame also does work on 1911's, as well as Gary reeder's son up north, though he may be more along the lines of building new / cusotm than working on existing weapons...
Based on your parameters for reasonable, basic and decent I'd chose Ford first and formost, his work is priced well below what many charge for similar and he is not a tactical turtle, he turns out a good service and does not try to upsell you on onobtainium this or that... NO BS just quality reliability work if that's what you want...
