1911 Grip Panels with Thumb Relief

Where does one get a set of 1911 grip panels with a thumb cut-out on the left side (for easy access to the mag release for those with short thumbs)?

Any info or linke would be appreciated!

Yes - something like that except perhaps in wood and defintely not with "Mad Dog" insignia. I like my guns as plain and unobtrusive as possible.

Those MDL grips are something that has been on the Must Get Some Day list. I like the way the look. 80 bucks isn't too much to throw out. I was --><-- this close to buying one set that cost 230. The only reason I didn't... They didn't take MasterCard.

Navidrex makes "contoured CCW" grips that are very thin in the middle and only fatten around the grip screws.

The problem with being an icon is that perfect strangers sometimes feel free to razz you a bit. The picture I have of you seems more like Ducatis, knives and .45s, than pink towels. Hope there was no offense. Gary (a little guilty, but still amused.)
