Wow...this is a new forum for me but it looks like there is more than one rooster in this henyard! No problem, we're all big boys, and gentlemen too...right!?
My thanks to tuner for the info. The disconnector was not resetting properly. I smoothed up the spring tip, the trigger/disconnect surfaces and the grip safety tang a bit. Test fired a few rounds and all is well.
