1911 Extractor Problem

Condition One

New member
I've had several 1911 style hand guns, but this is the first time I have run into a loose ejector. The front part, held in place by the roll pin seems to be fairly secure. It's the other end that moves up and down about .01 or less. Is this a problem? Thanks in advance for any help. Shoot Safe....CO

As long as the pin holding the ejector in place is there and the front end does not move, it should be just fine. I have an Ithaca 1911, built in '43, that has the same "problem" and everything that I fired thru it ejected.
