I would like suggestions for a moderately priced IWB (RH) for a 1911.

Comments on holsters please. I don't need to hear about other pistols thankyouverymuch. :)

I have had good use from both the Bianchi 3S Pistol Pockets and the Bianchi 100 Professional holsters. Nothing fancy, they just work. Check them out, and good shooting!

high noon is pretty good. also google rafters gunleather. they make very nice holsters and belts, i got a matching setup of black sharkskin belt/iwb holster for $130.

The BEST deal out there, and what I am wearing this very moment with a 5" 1911 tucked, is the IWB available at www.crossbreedholsters.com

This rig is absolutely amazing and at present can be had for only $36, deliverred! I paid $45 and tink that was a great price. Take a look at it and see. It is very comfortable, and tuckable to a good degree. I highly reccomend it.

Others out there I can suggest are.

www.sidearmor.com (I have one and think it is great.)
www.tuckergunleather.com (don't have but have seen and love, but very $$).

Stay away from generic el cheapos. While the crossbreed I mentioned is inexpensive it is certainly worth twice its price or more.

If you're willing to wait, the Milt Sparks Summer Special II is right around $70. Only downside is a 6-8 week wait, although it is well worth it.

I know this is on the high side of moderate, but I bought mine used and have used it for every-other-day-carry for 2 years and it still works like new. I am currently carrying a Spinrgfield lightweight loaded model.

I have used two Milt Spark Summer Special II's for the last ump-teen with my Glock 19 and all of my 1911's. My most recent purchase was a slightly used SS II for my Colt Commander.

I can honestly say I've owned several Galco Royal Guards, one or two old Bianchi (when John ran the company) 3S holsters, and several other companies I don't remember and Milt Sparks it the best made.
