1911 9MM Springfield

Picked up this past weekend, this is the loaded version. Really feels great has very good pointability for me. Wasn't too pleased with the mag's that came with it. Anyone
know if some of the quality makers does mag's for this weapon? Thanks.

Colt makes good mags for the 9mm 1911 type pistol.

Hopefully it holds 10 rounds in a flush fit single stack mag? If so, it might be pretty cool, IMO

Colt, Mec Gar are two manufacturers of 9mm mags...They have always in my experience been finicky..mainly because the gun was never designed for a round so short..40's are finicky too. That is why most competition shooters load the 40 out long in this type of gun.

It can be done...get good Wolffe. magazine springs and some tweaking of the feedlips might be needed..ususally what happens is the round is so short it releases from too early and doesn't feed..goodluck..have patience....it is fun caliber to shoot in the gun...

Thanks for the info, haven't shot it yet. The mag's may be ok just don't look well made. Mec Gar's are quality for sure and will check the Wolff catalog when I get home. Thanks for the replies.

Is the 10 round magazine flush with the bottom of the grip? I'm thinking of getting one myself.
