Would any of you be so kind as to run down a list of my options for such a unit?

I'm looking at the Wilson Combat model which is attractive because of Wilson's Cust Service reputation. Can't decide between the fixed or adjust. sights though.

What do you all think?

Dave, the Wilson unit's just a Ceiner with different badging !
Buy the lowest priced one unless you "need" to have Wilson on it. ;)
The adj. site one would be better as .22 ammo can shoot all over the place.
For the "Ducks Guts" of conv. kits check this out !

The Wilson and Kimber units are made by Ciener. Each company adds it's own touches, mostly cosmetic.

I have one of the fixed sight Ciener units and I've been very pleased with it. They didn't offer an adjustable sight version when I bought mine or I would have opted for it.

The extra $50 is worth the ability to zero with what ever brand of .22 ammo you find most accurate.

Having said that, my fixed sights happen to be right on at 25 yards with WW Super-X ammo.

Good Luck...

Joe

HS and JoeHatley, thanks for the input.

So paying $250-$300 for a unit is reasonable? For other accessories, Wilson prices tend to run high...

BTW HS, "Ducks Guts?"

Dave, I knew that would throw you !...LOL :D
Australianism for "The Best" you can get. ;)
The other type would be the cheaper ALL STEEL Jarvis unit that LOCKS BACK on the LAST SHOT & add on a Mec-Gar Adj. site for $39.95 from Ajax Shooters Supplies.
Just a thought !

I use a ceiner works well for me. They have a new one that cost a bit more that has adjustable sights and looks a bit nicer.
